Pro Tan Super Dark Competition Color Base Coat is an ultra-dark sunless tanning colour developed for bodybuilding and physique competitions. It combines Pro Tan's Original Competition Color formula with Super Dark instant bronzers to create a deep, stage-ready brown finish. The streak-free, quick-drying formula includes built-in skin preparation to support even absorption and can develop fully in as little as four hours.

Ingredients

Aqua (Water/Eau), Isopropyl Alcohol, Acetone, Dihydroxyacetone, CI 15510 (Orange 4), CI 60725 (Violet 2), Parfum (Fragrance), CI 19140 (Yellow 5), CI 15985 (Yellow 6), CI 16035 (Red 40), CI 42090 (Blue 1), Limonene, Geraniol, Linalool, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde.

Directions

Shake well before use. Do not use antiperspirant or lotion before the initial application or reapplication. Apply to clean, dry, prepared skin using an applicator sponge or mitt. Spray onto the applicator or pour into a bowl and saturate the sponge. Apply evenly, using lighter strokes around the hairline, knees, elbows and ankles. Allow 5–10 minutes to dry before contact with clothing, and avoid sweating or contact with water while the colour develops.

The colour darkens considerably within 4–8 hours. For lighter skin, apply the day before the show and reapply after 4–8 hours if a deeper result is required; rinse with warm water between applications, do not apply more than twice, and do not rinse the final coat. For darker skin, one application the day before the show is normally sufficient. Rinse away excess guide colour the following morning when appropriate for your application schedule.

For the face, apply the product to a sponge first; do not spray directly onto the face. Wash hands after use.

Preparation

For best results, exfoliate the body before the first application. Pro Tan recommends using a pre-tan exfoliator for three consecutive days beforehand to help smooth the skin and support even, dark colour development.

Warnings

• For external use only.
• Avoid inhalation and contact with the eyes, lips and mucous membranes.
• If the product enters the eyes, rinse immediately with water.
• Discontinue use if skin irritation occurs.
• This product does not contain sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn.
• Repeated exposure of unprotected skin while tanning may increase the risk of skin ageing, skin cancer and other harmful effects, even without burning.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• The colour may transfer to clothing, towels and bedding; use dark, loose-fitting items during development.

Storage

Keep tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
