Digestive aid for lactose intolerance

Lactase (Galactosidase) is a digestive enzyme that breaks down the lactose of milk and dairy products into harmless simple sugars, glucose and galactose. People lacking this enzyme are unable to utilize lactose fully and that may lead to unpleasant symptoms. Lactase enzyme improves lactose digestion in individuals, who have difficulty digesting lactose.* LACTASE is an ideal supplement for those, who wish to enjoy the benefits of whey, casein, caseinate or milk proteins, but suffer from lactose intolerance. Generally 2500 FCC units are required for the digestion of 10-13 grams of lactose (typically whey protein concentrates contain 5-6% lactose). Bulking agent (cellulose gel), capsule shell [gelatine, glazing agent (shellac), colour (iron oxides and hydroxides), acidity regulators (ammonium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide)], lactase enzyme preparation 15% [ß-Galactosidase 44% (from Aspergillus oryzae), salt]. Made in a plant that manufactures milk, egg, gluten, soy, peanuts, nuts, celery, fish, crustaceans, molluscs, sulphur dioxide containing foods.

Lactase enzyme Recommended Use:
Take 1 capsule with each lactose containing meal including whey, casein/caseinate, milk protein drinks. (1 capsule is generally enough for the digestion of 20-26 grams of lactose. About 400ml whole milk contains this quantity of lactose.)

Warnings:
Use this product in conjunction with food as part of a healthy, balanced diet, not as a substitute for such. Keep out of reach of children. Don't exceed the recommended daily dosage! Tolerance to lactose is variable and individuals with lactose intolerance should seek advice as to the role of this substance in their diet.
