Beta-alanine is a non-essential amino acid used by muscle cells to synthesize carnosine. Carnosine functions as a buffer for the hydrogen ions produced during strenuous exercise, helping maintain optimum muscular pH. NOW Sports uses CarnoSyn, a proprietary form of beta-alanine clinically tested to increase muscle carnosine content, allowing muscles to work harder and longer during intense exercise.

Recommended daily dose (3 veg capsules):
CarnoSyn Beta-Alanine: 2250 mg
Ingredients: CarnoSyn Beta-Alanine, rice flour, hypromellose (cellulose capsule), stearic acid (vegetable source) and ascorbyl palmitate. Not manufactured with yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish or tree nut ingredients. Produced in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens.
Recommended Use: Take 3 capsules 2 to 3 times daily with water or your favorite beverage. For best results, allow at least 2 hours between doses.
Warnings: For adults only. Beta-Alanine may cause a harmless, temporary tingling sensation on the skin for some individuals. After a few weeks of supplementation this sensation normally lessens or subsides. Consult physician if pregnant/nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition. Keep out of reach of children. Natural color variation may occur.
